an eletron starting from rest has a velocity that increases linearly with the time that is v=kt where k=2m/sec2(this is square). The distance travelled in the first 3sec will be
a) 9m
b) 16m
c) 27m
d) 36m

given acceleration k = 2m/s2 and initial velocity is zero 
so using the second equation of motion

s= ut + (1/2)at²

s = 0 + (1/2)×2×3²

s = 9m
