As the unknown liquid will occupy the same volume as water does but possess less mass as compared to water
For water density can be taken as 1
Then the volume is 60 ml.
Now the density 60/60 comes 1 which we have thought
But for unknown liquid it has 30 g mass
Then 30/60 accounts for 0.5 and hence it will be less dense as compare to water .. Half the value of density of water
