The prime minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi Announced the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan on 2nd October 2014 ie: Gandhi Jayanti. The aim of this mission says that India will be clean in the next 5 years. He also appointed 9 people for this mission. This mission was announced on Gandhi Jayanti because, Our dearest Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of an India Where "Garbage" word didn't exist. He hated garbage as Everyone else.
By this Mission, Our mother INDIA will be more cleaner, and would be a more peaceful place to live in.

"We reached Mars. No PM or Minister went. It was the people who did it, our scientists who did it. So can't we create a Clean India?"
