Express train For travelling 75 km--time--75/100*60=45 min 48 min-----75 km 1 km ------48/75 min 600 km ---48/75*600 min =384 mins Local train travels for 384 mins speed- 50kmph stops for 1 min after 25 one 25kms ----31 mins Nearest multiple of 31 is 372 In 372 mins ----- 372/31*25 kms =300 ins In the remaining (384-372) 12 mins or 1/5 hrs distance traveled=speed *time =1/5*50 =10 km therefore final answer is 310 kms

express
   speed 100 km/hr   stops for  3 min = 1/20 hours after every 75 km.

local train
speed 50 kmph    stops for 1 min after every 25 km
   Local train travels 25 km in  25 / 50 = 1/2 hour = 30 min
Include halt, it travels  25 km in 31 minutes.

express
   express travels 75 km in :  75/100 = 3/4 hour = 45 min
   include halt = 48 min.
express travels  75 km in 48 minutes.
  so it travels 600 km in  600 * 48 / 75  = 24 * 16 = 384 minutes

Local
   in 384 minutes,  it travels 384 / 31 * 25  km = 390.677  km
