An increase in demand would cause the demand to shift to the right.

  • When the price of the product decreases there is an increase in demand. This is the very basic and the most important definition of the increase in demand. The demand for a product may increase due to various reasons. They can increase when the price of the substitute good has increased so the people I would go for or another good and as it would increase its demand.
  • When the income of a consumer increases the propensity to consume also increases thus increasing the demand for various products.
