Electrostatic Force.

It is also known as Coulomb force or Coulomb interaction.

It is a sort of attraction of objects due to their electric charge.

Two similar electric charges repel each other on a straight line across their centers.

Alternately, two, unlike charges, will attract each other across a straight line while joining the centres.

An electric force is in operation between the charges down to distances of minimum 10 to the power -16 metre of the diameter of atomic nuclei.

Due to positive charges, protons inside a nucleus repel each other while nuclei hold together due to a different physical force.
