The velocity of the object after 2 seconds will be 14 m/s.

Given,

The acceleration of the object = 2 m/s².

The initial speed of the object = 10 m/s.

To Find,

The speed of the object after 2 seconds.

Solution,

Using the equation of motion

v = u + at

where,

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity = 10 m/s

a = acceleration of the body = 2 m/s²

t = time taken = 2 seconds

v = 10+2(2)

v = 10+4

v = 14 m/s

Hence, the velocity of the object after 2 seconds will be 14 m/s.
