M=16kg
a=3ms²
f=m×a
f=16×3
f=48N
a=f/m
a=48/24
a=2m/s²

An object of mass 16 kg is moving with an acceleration of 3 m/s2. Calculate the applied force. If the same force is applied on an object of mass 24 kg, how much will be the acceleration?

Force = Mass * acceleration

Mass = 16 kg

a = 3 m/sq sec

Force = 16 ×3 = 48 N

applied force = 48N

the same force is applied on an object of mass 24 kg

F = ma

48N = 24 a

a = 2 m/sq sec

acceleration will be 2 m/sq sec
