When a body covers equal distance in equal intervals of time, then its motion is known as uniform motion whereas when a body covers equal distance in unequal intervals of time or an unequal distance in equal intervals of time, then its motion is known as non-uniform motion.

• The body must be having constant velocity during its motion.
