Given:
Total distance travelled=15+10=25m

Total time taken=3+2=5sec

Average speed=?

Formula to be used :

Average speed= Total Distance/Total time
=25/5
=5m/s
Therefore the average speed of an object is 5m/s

From the given statements:

Total distance travelled = 15 m + 10 m = 25 m.

Total time for travel = 3 s + 2 s = 5 s.

Speed = Distance/time

Thus, average speed = 25 m/5 s = 5 m/s.
