Simplify:

(⅔ + ⅞) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15

Given:

(2/3 +7/8) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15


By applying BODMAS rule


Lcm of 3 & 8 is 24


((2×8+7×3)/24) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15


((16+21)/24) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15


37/24 × 8/25 ÷ 37/15


37/24 × 8/25 × 15/37


(8/24) × 15 /25


(1/3) × 3/5


1/5

The answer is ⅕

Given equation : -
= 2/3 +7/8) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15


Take Lcm for 3 and 8 is 24

= (2*8 ÷24 + 7*3 ÷24) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15

= (16÷24 + 21÷24) × 8/25 ÷ 37/15

[Since the denominator is same 24 on both taking it common and addting both the numerator (16 + 21 = 37 )]

=37/24 × 8/25 ÷ 37/15

=37/24 × 8/25 × 15/37
[37/37 = 1 got cancelled ]


= 8/25 x 15/24
[8 x 3times is 24 ] [ 5*5 = 25 and 5*3 = 15 is got cancelled by dividing by 5]

= 1/5 x 3/3. [ 3÷3 = 1 ]
= 1/5

= 1/5 is the answer.
