Given---

Acceleration = 8 m/s²
Initial velocity = 0 [Since the Object starts from the rest]
Time = 1 seconds.

Using the formula,

        a =  \frac{v - u}{t}
              ⇒ v = 8 × 1
                  v = 8 m/s.

Using the formula,

   Distance = Velocity × Time
                  = 8 × 1
                 = 8 m.


Thus, the distance is 8 m.
