☆Given that the parts are 2m on each side and goes across to the centre of opposite side.

☆So , basically we have on one side perfect angle of length 60m and breadth 2m whose area is A¹ = 60 × 2 = 120cm²

☞And on other side ; A rectangle of length 59m and breadth 2m whose area is A² = 59 × 2 = 110cm²

» one important note that the area of the central part has been included twice so it has to be subtracted once from the total area;

» Total area = 120 + 110 - ( 2 × 2 )

= 230 - 4

= 226sq.m

» Therefore: Total area of path = 226sq.m

Hence solved
