Answer:

782.57 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Total height of cylinder = 22 cm.

Radius(r) of upper circular end of frustum part = 18/2 = 9 cm.

Radius(R) of lower circular end of frustum part = 8/2 = 4 cm.

Height of frustum part h = 22 - 10 = 12 cm

Height of cylindrical part H = 10 cm.

We have to find slant height.

Slant height = √h² + (r - R)²

=> l = √169

=> l = 13 cm

we have to calculate Area of tin sheet.

=> π * (r + R) * l + 2πRH

=> (22/7) * (9 + 4) * 13 + 2(22/7)(4)(10)

=> 22/7 * (169 + 80)

=> 5478/7

=> 782.57 cm²

Hence, Area of tin sheet = 782.57 cm².
