here angle b will be equal to. 180-170= 10 ( angle on straight line a)

using property of sum of triangle = 180

we can find angle a

= 70+10+a= 180

angle a = 100

a + 70° = 170° (exterior angle = sum of two opposite interior angles).

=> a= 170°-70°

=> a=100°

a+b+70°=180°(sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180°)

=>100°+b+70°=180°

=>b=180°-170°

=>b=10°

.°. a=100°, b=10°
