Answer: The correct answer is Rs 28.5

Step-by-step explanation:

i) 30kg of wheat at the rate of Rs22 per kg

So,

Total price of 30kg of wheat = 22 x 30

= 660 Rs...(1)

ii)20kg of wheat at the rate of Rs24 per kg

So,

Total price of 20kg of wheat = 24 x 20

= 480 Rs…(2)

Therefore, from eq.(1) & eq.(2)—

Total price of 50kg of wheat = 660+480

= 1140 Rs

Selling price of 50kg wheat= 125% of 1140

[ 100%(Cost price) + 25%(Profit)]

Selling price of 50kg wheat=1140x(125/100

= 1425 Rs

Selling price of 1kg wheat = 1425/50

= 28.5 Rs

He should sell the mixture Rs 28.5 per kg

to make 25% profit.
