Given that, the length of Polar Express = 100 m
Also the length of Santa's bridge = 400 m
So total distance = 400 + 100 = 500 m = 500 / 1000 = 0.5 km
Time = t = 30 seconds = 30 / 3600 = 0.0083 hours
Speed of the train = ?
Solution:
We know that,
Speed = Distance / Time
Speed = 0.5 / 0.0083
Speed = 60.2 km/h
which is the answer.
Hopefully it helps. Thanks.

jagadeesheedubp13c4q: If you didn't take time as .0083 as approx value and calculate with 30/3600, the speed is 60 KMPH
