Hey sis,
You knw, Monocot plants ( say, Coconut tree) do not undergo secondry growth pattern,means they do not increase its girth,
In such cases the vascular bundles are closed, a cambial ring is not present betw xylem and phloem
But in case of dicot plants, vascular bundles are open, cambium is present betw xylem and phloem
