hello frnd,
it is given that
M1 V1=M2 V2
this implies,
1*V1=4*V2
therefore,
V1/V2=4/1
now,ratio of kinetic energy=
1/2*M1*(V1)^2 divided by 1/2*M2*(V2)^2
=but M1/M2=1/4
and V1/V2=4/1
so (V1)^2/(V2)^2=16/1
so ratio is
1/4*16/1 = 4
it is given that
M1 V1=M2 V2
this implies,
1*V1=4*V2
therefore,
V1/V2=4/1
now,ratio of kinetic energy=
1/2*M1*(V1)^2 divided by 1/2*M2*(V2)^2
=but M1/M2=1/4
and V1/V2=4/1
so (V1)^2/(V2)^2=16/1
so ratio is
1/4*16/1 = 4
