The formula to find rational numbers between two numbers is (a+b)/2.

(-2+5)/2=3/2. Between two numbers infinite number of rational numbers exists.

now find rational number between 3/2 and 5 i.e., (3/2+5)/2=(13/2)/2=13/4.

now find rational number between -2 and 3/2 i.e.,(-2+3/2)/2=(-1/2)/2=-1/4

there for three rational number between -2 and 5 are -1/4, 3/2 and 13/4
