Common Difference= 3√2-√2

= √2(3-1)

= √2(2)= 2√2

So, 18th term = a+ (18-1)d

= √2+17(2√2) {a=√2 and d=2√2}

= √2+34√2

= √2(1+34)

= √2(35)= 35√2.

Therefore the 18th term of the A.P. √2, 3√2, 5√2,... is 35√2.
