( 1 ) Potters place round piece of cloth on their head to carry the heavy load. By putting cloths so , the porter increases the area of contact of load with their head. As we know, pressure is inversely proportional to area .So, force of load falls on the larger area due to which the pressure on the head decreases and it becomes easier for a porter to carry the heavy load.
(2) When we press the bulb, due to air pressure difference , the water in the dropper increases. As we know ,Water move from a higher pressure (water retained) to a lower pressure gradient (glass tube inside).The air in the tube and the bulb escapes in the form of bubbles when the bulb is squeezed. Because of this, pressure decreases inside the bulb. Atmospheric pressure on the liquid surface however is present. The water flows inside the tube as we release the bulb.
(3) We can hear because of a series of complex steps that change sound waves which enter the outer ear and passes the ear canal. Leads to the vibration of eardrum which tends to further vibrations of three tiny bones, malleus, incus, and stapes to the cochlea . And this action of chemical generates signals that Our auditory nerve carries to the brain.
(4) We can take care of our eyes by following below mentioned precaution .
(a) Avoid rubbing your eyes to prevent infection from hands with lot of dirt, dust and bacteria and irritation.
(b) Stay hydrated to prevent your eyes from getting dry and irritate
(5) Airs get polluted by chemical , biological or physical pollutants in the environment . It is caused by the presence of toxic substances, mainly produced by human activities, even though sometimes it can result from natural phenomena such as volcanic eruptions, dust storms and wildfires.
