1. Heat-Sun is the ultimate source of energy which is transported into the surface of ocean and causes temperature increase on the outer layer of the ocean.
2. Inner heat of ocean-Inner surface of earth is hot and the distribution of crust is 5-30 km thick that is another cause of temperature increase in ocean.
3. Conventional current-Temperature of earth increases with increase in the depth that is the main cause of heat in deep sea water than the upper layer.
4. Friction- It is another main cause that is produced by surface wing and current produced by tidal effect that is responsible for causing increase stress in the water body.
