2)a=Aluminium foils are used to wrap food items because aluminium being a soft malleable metal it can be beaten to in sheets to form thin wrapping sheets. Moreover it does not react with food items. Immersion rods are made ofmetallic substances metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.

2)c=Copper is less reactive than zinc and so placed below zinc in the reactivity series of metals. A less reactive metal cannot displace a more reactive metal from its salt solution. Hence, copper cannot displace zinc from its salt solution.

2)d=Because if they kept open they can burn and if they kept in water they can react with water. So, they are kept in kerosene. Sodium and Potassium are the most reactive metals on this earth. They react very explosively with both water and air that is why they are stored in kerosene instead.
