Answer this fast...... A metallic cuboid of dimensions 15cm by 10cm by 5cn is melted and cast into 6 equal cubes. Find the surface area of a cube.

hey dear ....here is ur answer..

volume of metallic cuboid = l * b * h = 15 * 10 * 5 =750 cm3
the metallic cuboid is melted to form 6 cubes of equal side, (say, side = 'a' cm).
the volume of metallic cuboid = volume of 6 small cubes
volume a cube = a3
750 = 6 * a3
a3 = 125
a = 5 cm
surface area of a cube = 6 a2
= 6 * 52 = 150 cm2
