Solution:

Given&To find: the value of
(6^-1-8^-1)^-1
(6^{-1}-8^{-1})^{-1}
= ( \frac{1}{6} - \frac{1}{8} ) ^{-1}
= ( \frac{8-6}{(8)(6)})^{-1}
= ( \frac{2}{48}) ^{-1}
= (\frac{1}{24})^{-1}
= \frac{24}{1}
=24
