 sample space = { (1,1), (1,2), (1,3)..........,  (8,8) } = 8² elements = 64 elements
i) P(show 5 and 6) no of elements = (5,6) (6,5) = 2

so probab. = 2/64 = 1/32

ii)  sum of 2 nos. = 10
no of such elements = (5,5),(4,6)(6,4) (8,2)(2,8)(3,7)(7,3) = 7
so probability = 7/64

iii) both are even
no of such ele. = (2,2)(2,4)(2,6).........(8,8) = 4x4 = 16
so probabilty = 16/64 = 1/4

iv)let both odd
no of such elements= (1,1)(1,3)...........(7,7) = 4x4 = 16

so probabilty of both odd = 16/64 = 1/4

now probability of one odd and one even = 1 - 1/4 - 1/4 = 1/2

iv) probabilty of getting 6 in either dice =
no of such elements = 8 x 2 -1 = 15

probability of getting 6 = 15/64

then for getting 6 = 1 -15/64 = 49/64

hope my ans are correct.

Jatin121: Yes
parisakura98pari: do u have any doubt in this ques?
Jatin121: No
Jatin121: what is the meaning of 2 nos in second part
parisakura98pari: 2 numbers.
parisakura98pari: on the two dice thrown simultaneously.
