According to given sum,

The capsule is the combination of a cylinder & hemispheres.

Surface area of capsule = CSA of cylinder + CSA of 2 hemispheres .

In cylinder,
radius=5/2=2.5mm

Height=14mm-(2.5+2.5)
=14-5
=9mm

csa = 2\pi \times rh
=2×22/7×2.5×9
=141.3 sqmm

In hemisphere,
radius =2.5mm

csa = 4\pi {r}^{2}
4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {2.5}^{2}
=78.5 sq. mm

Surface area =141.3+78.5
=219.8sq .mm

:-)Hope it helps u.

rakesh1232: thank you
