a. The dough rose due to the presence of yeast..The yeast gets activated after some time n the carbon dioxide gets released n we get the dough raised....

b. During the anaerobic respiration, CO2 n alcohol is released.. So due to alcohol we get the sour smell...

c. In the absence of sugar, the dough won't rise pr rises slowly... So sugar is added to dough..
