Let the tens digit be x.
By question ones digit is twice than the tens.
so ones digit =2x
Then the formation of the original no.=10.x+2x
=10x+2x
=12x
Now on reversing the digits,new no.=10.2x+x
=20x+x
=21x
According to question,
12x+21x=99
33x=99
x=99/33
x=3
Now putting the value of x in original no.,
12x=12×3
=36
Hence the original number is 36.

SamRahul: I have give the answer with explanation.
