Government must fulfill the basic requirements of the people, because the government authorities are elected directly by the citizens of the nation. By the definition of democracy by Abraham Lincoln which states that " the government of the people , by the people and for the people ". So the government should spend on the development of the wellbeing of the citizens by doing certain activities and thereby promoting the welfare of the human beings. The government authorities are selected not for their wellbeing but for the sake of the citizens. So they must provide the basic requirements for the people. By their activities, the people will evaluate them and praise them.The constitution was set up not for the sake of the leaders but for the progressityof the citizens of the nation.For these reasons the government must spend on certain activities.
