Let the pair of shoes = x.
Let the pair of whistles = a
Let the boy be " y "
x + x + x = 30
3x = 30
x = 10

x + y + y = 20
10 + 2y = 20
2y = 10
y = 5 .

y+a+a = 13
5 +2a = 13
2a = 8
a = 4 .

A pair of whistles = 4.
One whistle = 2 .

Boy with whistle = 5
But whistle = 2
So boy without whistle = 3

Now, one shoe + Boy without whistle * Whistle

= 5 + 3 * 2

= 5 + 6

= 11 .

Hope helped!

Anonymous: So, the answer will be 11 and therefore @praneethworldtopper is wrong..
