Convex lens has real focus because it converges the light parallel to the principle axis into its focus ie the light rays actually meets at focus. In concave lens, it diverges the rays away such that it appears to meet at focus but does not actually meet. So it has virtual focus.

Here's ur answer!
Convex lens has real focus because it converges the rays of light and the light rays actually meets at focus. concave lens has virtual focus as it diverges the rays of light and it appears to meet at focus.
