any one know why we write with pencils in childhood but not know?

We write with pencil in the childhood but we can write with pen also and now we write with pen but we can write with pencil also,
so there is nothing to know about this....

We wrote with pencils in childhood so that our handwriting was proper and if there was any mistake, we could rub it and write it again unlike with pen.
