a) Non- Cooperation Movement led by Mahatma Gandhi in the early 1920s.

After the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre, by the British soldiers, Mahatma Gandhi launched the Non- Cooperation Movement, in which he asked the Indians to practice Swadeshi, i.e. avail services and buy goods made in India and boycott the British goods and the services provided by them.

b) Quit India Movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942.

Quit India Movement was launched by Gandhiji on 8th August 1942, addressing the British to leave India and the Indian Administration in the hands of the Indians and exit the country.
