iii) Given x/4 + y/3= 5k ...... (1)

Now put the value of x and y in eq. 1

2/4 + 1/3 = 5k

1/2 + 1/3 = 5k

taking LCM:-

5/6 = 5k

Now, k = 5/5×6

so, k= 1/6
