2x(x+2)-3(x+2)=0
(x+2)(2x-3)=0
x+2=0 or 2x-3=0
x= -2 or x= 3/2

2) Formula Method-

Comparing the equation by b^2-4ac

b^2-4ac= (1)²-4×(2)×(-6)
= 1+48
= 49

We know that,

x = -b ± √b²-4ac/2a

= -(1) ± √49/2*(2)

= -1 ± 7 / 4

= -1+7 /4 or -1-7 /4

= 6/4 or -8/4

= 3/2 or -2
