they r not equivalent

as

 \frac{ - 10}{ - 15}  =  \frac{2}{3}

which is not equal to  \frac{ - 2}{3}

see the question is easy,you just need to understand it. It asks to show that whether-2/3 or -10/-15 are equal or not.

by comparing both the rational numbers:-

-2/3 and -10/-15

in -10/-15, - sign will be cancelled,

and then divide it by 5(common multiple)

:. the nos. are:-

-2/3 and 2/3

since -2/3 is not equal to 2/3,

:. the given rational numbers aren't equivalent.
