Asteroids can't be larger than sun as if it will be then it will be unable for it to revolve around sun. As it moves around sun or any other star , so , it can not be even smaller than star. It can be larger than planets or meteoroids but it is usually seen that it is smaller than planets and larger than meteoroids.
