Here is the answer

Area of triangle =  \bf {\frac{1}{2} \times base \times height}

Base = 10 cm
Area of triangle = 60sq.cm

Using the formula,

 \bf{60 = \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times h}

 \bf{60 \times 2 = 10 \times h}

 \bf{120 = 10 \times h}

 \bf{\frac{120}{10} = h}

 \bf{12 \: cm = h}

Hence, the height of the triangle is 12 cm.

Hi friend ,

Area of triangle =  1/2 × base × height

  • 60 cm² = 1/2 × 10 × height
  • 60 = 5 × height
  • 60/5 = height   .........transposing
  • 12 cm = height

Hope this helps :)
