Answer:

We have 2 equations: 4x-3y+4=0 and 4x+3y-1=0;

Formulate any 3 possible values(coordinates) for the above equation which satisfy the equations. In my case: (-1, 0) (-4, -4) and (5, 8) [for 4x-3y+4=0] and (-2,3) (1,-1) and (4, -5) [ for  4x-3y-1=0].

Now you must accordingly plot the points on the graph;

Therefore the area of the shaded region is 1.2 sq.units(approx)

sinhaaaryan27: Just a correction, the area is supposed to be 1 sq. units and not 1.2 as a complete unit counts in a graph enclosed figure. :)
