work done by Arjun = Force acting by Arjun for climbing up a rope × displacement
= ( weight of Arjun ) × height = mgh
= 50kg × 10m/s² × 8m [ g = 10m/s²
= 4000J

hence, work done by Arjun = 4000J

rate of work done by him = work done/time taken = 4000J/10s = 400 J/s = 400 W

Answer:

Explanation:

work done by Arjun = Force acting by Arjun for climbing up a rope × displacement

= ( weight of Arjun ) × height = mgh

= 50kg × 10m/s² × 8m [ g = 10m/s²

= 4000J

hence, work done by Arjun = 4000J

rate of work done by him = work done/time taken = 4000J/10s = 400 J/s = 400 W
