Arrhenius Concept :
Acid :
1. Aqueous Solutions of Salts which disassociate H⁺ ions on disassociation is called as an Arrhenius Acid.
E.g. HCl
Base :
1. Aqueous Solutions of Salts which disassociate OH⁻ ions on disassociation is called as an Arrhenius Base.
E.g. NaOH

According to arrhenius " the substance, which on dissolving in aqueous solution give hydrogen ion (H +) are called acid"
Eg - HCl ,HNo3 etc.
The substance which on dissolving in water give hydroxide ion (OH -) are called base.
Eg - NaOH, KaOH etc.
