How would you feel if you were to spend a day without TV?

If I had to spend a day without TV, I would really feel excited about trying other leisure activities. Watching TV everyday brings monotony. I have already watched it so much that not watching it would be a welcome break. I would have the option of trying something new. For instance, I can go out and play with my friends. There is already so much emphasis on playing outdoor games at school and at home equally. So I would play with my peers on a lush green ground, under the infinite blue sky. Playing outside is real fun. It is as more interesting than watching TV. While watching TV, we are passive watchers; but while playing, we are the active players. We are .... a kind of hero!

The second option that I can try in the absence of TV would be reading my favourite book. I would love to read a Harry Potter book. While reading books I have realized reading is far more fun than TV! In our rapt absorption, the words on pages are turned into vibrant imagery. We see the magic taking place on the scene of our mind. We fly with Harry on his broom, we chase and catch the snitch with him and share his thrill.

Another option that I would try in the absence of TV would be going for a walk in the country, where there is pure Nature spread beautifully all around. I would love to go to a brook and sit on its bank, and look at its crystal clear water with colourful fishes swimming in it.

So you see, I have a lot many options to try, if ever I were to spend a day without TV.

answer:For many people a day without television is unimaginable but for me the day becomes interesting.

A day without television means a life with better health and fitness, a day with more fun in outdoor activities.television is one of the most important inventions of science.watching television is not a bad habit, but it all depends on what we watch. For example, watching not only a cartoon channel but also any other channel is useless unless it is providing us with moral values, increasing our knowledge or making us laugh.

Television can be useful source of information.by watching news channels we get to know what is happrening and what are developements taking place in not only our country but also the world.the word “television” is a combination of two words: “tele” (distance) and “vision” (to see) thus it means to see from a distance.it is an audio-visual electronic device of the modern age.it provides entertainment to the people of every age, and has taken the place of cinema.students can gain a lot of information by watching informative programs like animal planet, national geographic etc
