Every living thing on earth depends on each other. the humans and animals need the plants not only for food but also for their daily intake of fresh air while the plants require the help of humans in their own survival. This co-dependence on each other make living a duality of responsibilities.

When deforestation happens, then the balance is disrupted and one side gets wasted which in turn hurts the other side. The felling of trees, the removal of plants due to the greed and so called "advancement' of humanity has led to a large scale decrease in the number of trees. This not only disrupts the ecological balance but also bring about a whole level of destruction to humanity. Soil erodes, flood occur, environmental issues come up and the sufferers of all these are the humans. The floods, landslides kill humans, the reduction of trees lead to the reduction of carbon-dioxide absorbents and oxygen producing levels decrease,leading to global warming which again affects the humans. Whatever is done to the trees or plants comes back to haunt the humans. Thus, any act of deforestation is like destructing oneself. So, if we are to survive, we should learn to keep the plants alive and in good numbers.
