Answer:

                                       The Craze of Internet

The internet has the world under its spell! Not a single person lives without using their phone or tab or laptop. Internet access has changed every culture. For example, people who loved each other in real life or made friends in real life are keener towards using dating apps and making friends online which is really bad.

Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are the main interests among the growing generations. They are a good medium providing information around the world but it’s the addiction that’s causing trouble for boys and girls, especially teens. Photography and modelling have their positive sides but today’s generation spends more time in taking photographs, modelling or editing them and finally, posting them on social media. The more likes and comments they receive, the happier they feel. Not receiving the desired response affects them widely. The importance of enjoying and living in the moment is long gone. Also, putting everything on social media gives a huge opportunity to some people to do wrong with others. Hacking into someone’s social media profile or copying and making use of someone’s pictures to cause harm or for some other bad purpose are just a few examples. With the craze of internet so high, the cyber crime rate has gone higher too. Many teens and children due to these suffer from trauma and other mental health conditions like anxiety, depression and so on.

Moreover, handing smartphones to kids have made situations worse. They concentrate more on social media than on their studies or assignments or extracurricular activities.

Sometimes to keep children busy parents give their phones to them so that stay distracted and don’t disturb them during their work. This is what is problematic! They even gift smartphones and internet connection leading to more trouble which surfaces later on. Sometimes children and teens tend to visit sites which are harmful for their mental health and may cause various kinds of trauma or psychological conditions. Parents must keep a tab of what’s happening in order to save their children from the harms of this internet craze that the world’s population is suffering from.
