Environment pollution

Our environment is constituted by the natural and man made things. But our environment is being polluted in many ways. The wastes and smoke from mills, factories, carbon mono oxide gas emitted by motor vehicles, chemical fertilizers and insecticides used in the agriculture, dust water of the drains and deforestation etc cause environment pollution. It is, now a days, one of the greatest problems of Bangladesh. It is not only our national problem but also an international problem. At present, we can not lead a peaceful and normal life because of this problem. Whenever we read a newspaper, we can see the bad sides of environment pollution. It harms not only a single person but also all over the country. If this problem increases day by day, Bangladesh will have to face a critical situation. In the developed countries, this kind of problem is very rare. In our country, everybody feels this problem, but nobody takes proper step to remove it.
The bad effects of environment pollution are very dangerous. It ruins our social status. As it is a main problem of Bangladesh, we have to remove it. For this, the government has to take proper step and pass a new law against this. Not only government but also politicians, thinkers, social workers and all the people of Bangladesh have to be more conscious of removing this problem. Telling in short, to develop our country, we all have to try to stop environment pollution.

Environmental Pollution

Environmental pollution has existed for centuries but only started to be significant following the industrial revolution in the 19th century. Pollution occurs when the natural environment cannot destroy an element without creating harm or damage to itself. The elements involved are not produced by nature, and the destroying process can vary from a few days to thousands of years (that is, for instance, the case for radioactive pollutants). In other words, pollution takes place when nature does not know how to decompose an element that has been brought to it in an unnatural way.

Pollution must be taken seriously, as it has a negative effect on natural elements that are an absolute need for life to exist on earth, such as water and air. Indeed, without it, or if they were present on different quantities, animals – including humans – and plants could not survive. We can identify several types of pollution on Earth: air pollution, water pollution and soil pollution.

(1) air pollution :-

Pollution is now a common place term, that our ears are attuned to. We hear about the various forms of pollution and read about it through the mass media. Air pollution is one such form that refers to the contamination of the air, irrespective of indoors or outside. A physical, biological or chemical alteration to the air in the atmosphere can be termed as pollution. It occurs when any harmful gases, dust, smoke enters into the atmosphere and makes it difficult for plants, animals and humans to survive as the air becomes dirty.

(2) water pollution :-

Water they say is life, and indeed they were right. With about 70% of the earth’s cover being water, it undeniably becomes one of our greatest resources. As young students, we learned about the various ways to conserve water; coming to think of it, water is used in almost every important human chores and processes. It is an important element in both domestic as well as industrial purposes. However a closer inspection of our water resources today, give us a rude shock.

(3) soil pollution :-

With the rise of concrete buildings and roads, one part of the Earth that we rarely see is the soil. It has many different names, such as dirt, mud and ground. However, it is definitely very important to us. The plants that feed us grow in soil and keeping it healthy is essential to maintaining a beautiful planet. However, like all other forms of nature, soil also suffers from pollution. The pollution of soil is a common thing these days, and it happens due to the presence of man made elements.
