Assertion - True (can be)

A v-t graph can be a straight line parallel to time axis. It is possible if it's is in uniform motion. If there is any acceleration, the graph will not become parallel to X axis or time axis.

Reason - False

It is because when a body travells in an accelerated motion, the graph doesn't becomes parallel to time axis.

Therefore the correct option becomes:-

A is correct but R is wrong (C)

Explanation:

c. A is correct but R is wrong

the graph is parallel to x axis ...it means ....v is constant ......the particle is moved with same velocity ...... although time is increasing....in this condition ..the particle has no acceleration...........so c is correct...
