Answer:

1) Sedimentary rocks are classified based on how they form and on the size of the sediments, if they are clastic. Clastic sedimentary rocks are formed from rock fragments, or clasts; chemical sedimentary rocks precipitate from fluids; and biochemical sedimentary rocks form as precipitation from living organisms.

Answer:

1) If you look closely at the rock you will see that it is made of sand-sized particles that have been lithified to create sandstone. The rock is eroding into very unique shapes, but these shapes are more likely to form from a rock made of small cemented together grains than from an igneous or metamorphic rock.

2) There is time variation of 2 hours between Easternmost and the Westernmost parts of our country. The sun rises two hours earlier in Arunachal Pradesh as compared to Gujarat. This is because the earth is tilted and also it rotates in east to west direction.

3)Igneous rock is formed through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava. Igneous rock may form with or without crystallization, either below the surface as intrusive (plutonic) rocks or on the surface as extrusive (volcanic) rocks.

Sedimentary Rocks formed by the deposition of material at the Earth's surface and within bodies of water. Sedimentation is the collective name for processes that cause mineral and/or organic particles (detritus) to settle and accumulate or minerals to precipitate from a solution.

2-Abundance on the earth crust

The sedimentary rock cover of the continents of the Earth's crust is extensive, but the total contribution of sedimentary rocks is estimated to be only 8% of the total volume of the crust.

Igneous and metamorphic rocks make up 90–95% of the top 16 km of the Earth's crust by volume.

4) Composite volcanoes—also called stratovolcanoes—are named for their composition. These volcanoes are built from layers, or strata, of pyroclastic material, including lava, pumice, volcanic ash, and tephra. The layers stack on each other with each eruption. The volcanoes form steep cones, rather than rounded shapes, because the magma is viscous.

5) a part of the coast where the land goes in to form a curve.

6) Continental drift was a theory that explained how continents shift position on Earth's surface. Set forth in 1912 by Alfred Wegener, a geophysicist and meteorologist, continental drift also explained why look-alike animal and plant fossils, and similar rock formations, are found on different continents.

7) Physical Geography

Human Geography

Physical geography Looks at the Natural process of the Earth, such as climate and plate tectonics, wind movements etc Human geography looks at the impact and behaviour of people and their implications in the physical world

Areas of Physical Geography include:

Geomorphology: The shape of the structure of the Earth and how they were formed

Hydrology: Study of Earth’s Water

Glaciology: Study of Earth’s glaciers and ice sheets

Climatology: Study of the Earth’s climate

Areas of Human Geography include:

Cultural Geography: How things like religion, language and government vary across the world

Development Geography: Standards of living and quality of life across the world

Historical Geography: How people have studied and thought about geography in the past

Urban Geography: Cities and Built-up areas

Physical geography lays more emphasis on the ‘location’ aspect of the region it currently studies Human geography concentrates both a “location” and “people aspect as well. For example, a typical study will focus on why the Western-portion of the Indian subcontinent are populated with people of Iranic and Turkish descent .
