Answer: 7 \sqrt 2 m/sec

Solution:

Initial Velocity: The motion begins at this velocity.It is denoted m/sec.

Given that initial velocity u = 3i + 4j

      Acceleration = 0.4i + 0.3j

       Time (t) = 10sec

       Final velocity v = u + at

                       v = 3i+ 4j + (0.4i + 0.3j) \times 10

                       v = 3i+ 4j + 4i + 3j = 7i + 7j

Now speed is v =\sqrt{ (7i)^2 + (7j)^2} = 7 \sqrt 2 m/sec
